Grave Opening & Closing:

(Regular burials & cremations)

Monday thru Friday: $800

Saturday and Sunday: $900

All openings and closings of grave sites will be done by Gettysburg Cemetery staff.

Cremation Ashes will be limited to two (2) placements per grave space.

Disinterment: $2,000

If casket is reburied, additional $800.

Government Marker:

We recommend the plaque be mounted on the monument. Please make arrangements with the monument supplier for the mounting.

Transfer or replacement of Deed: $50

Foundations for Monuments: $1200 for 43" Foundation (All foundations are minimum of 43" width) Over 43" is $75.00/cu ft.

Grave Spaces: $800

Lot (5 Spaces): $4,000

Buying back unused grave spaces resulted in the following amendments:

     1. All grave spaces sold by Gettysburg Cemetery Association prior to January 1, 1973, are the rate of $40.

     2. After January 1, 1973, grave spaces will be paid face value on Deed.

Lots purchased by partial payment: If not paid in full within one (1) year of original down payment a deed will not be issued, and all previous payments will be NON-REFUNDABLE.

Please note:

One lot contains 5 spaces. Each space has a maximum width of 42" at the head end. Therefore, a single monument with a 6" margin on foundation cannot be more than 30".
